Diane Anderson emphasizes the elements of nature - in luscious glass color:
* fire and lava - destruction and creation at the same time
* water - calm tranquility and hidden mystery
* land - shapes and subtle colors of the fields and mountains
* space - depth, challenge, and the unknown

The organic yet sensuous look of various elements of nature come from using dynamic color, various textures, hand finishing, and refined firing techniques.

Each piece is individually hand-made using glass frits, multiple layers, and multiple kiln firings to evoke the feel of the land - all of the natural elements. Pieces are extensively worked, edged, and hand-polished.

Diane has a B.S. in biomedical communication and M.A. in art. She has worked in bronze and pottery for years before migrating to glass 10 years ago. She has been in numerous Fine Art Fairs throughout the country, as well as in various galleries. Her work has been featured on WGN news several times, and in Home Decor Buying. She has studied at Pilchuck and has received numerous purchase awards and awards at various shows.
