Amalie lives in Rio Rancho, New Mexico with her husband and 3 young sons ages, 4, 7 and 11. She has been working with glass and designing unique beaded glass jewelry for as long as she can remember. Her mother is also a self taught glass artist and together they were pioneers in the lost art of glass fusing nearly 30 years ago. The introduction of dichroic coated glass just a few years ago has taken fusing into a whole new and exciting realm of possibilities. When dichroic coated glass is fused with various colors of compatible stained glass it creates dazzling rainbows of color. When worn these small, glittery pendants will capture the light and the attention of everyone around you. The bold, bright colors will never fade, and although Amalie's designs may look delicate, her endurance tests performed by her own children have proved they are incredibly durable.
